Peninsula Bobcats: re-defining Basketball and Netball on the Peninsula.

The Peninsula Bobcats Sports Association is like no other sports club, we have something for everyone. We currently cater for all of your Basketball and Netball needs. No matter where you are in the player development cycle, from “novice” to “elite” we can cater for you. At Bobcats Basketball we conduct a number of our own in-house Development Programs which include our Junior Hoops, Elite Hoops and Next Step Programs. Bobcats Netball we are just starting out and we are looking to field teams in at Casey, Frankston and Mornington.
We also have our own All Abilities, All Stars program, and Holiday Camps (Basketball) these are the things most other clubs don’t do. We do this because we can, we have great coaches, and the expertise within our Club to run these programs. These programs are not just for Bobcats members but anyone who enjoys playing sport.

We try to be more in tune with our younger generation and their expectations. This is why you will see us doing things differently. When Bobcats was started we had a vision to be the largest domestic family oriented basketball club, and today it’s starting to become a reality. Since inception (2013) we have continued to grow to 80+ teams, with many teams in most age groups. We have most recently started Bobcats Netball, and it is our goal to grow this along with our Basketball teams. Making Peninsula Bobcats Sports Association the largest sports club in South East Melbourne, and not just on the Peninsula.

In 2015 we were pleased to announce our new Basketball Head Coach in Natalie Porter. Natalie a former Olympian and WNBL player and also the Director of NPIRE. Natalie has come on board to help the Bobcats Basketball with our Coaches Education Program, assist with training sessions, conduct coaching clinics, and be part of our Academy Program. The great thing for Bobcats now is you will also be getting some of the best coaching possible at a domestic level.

So if you’re looking to join a basketball and netball club that’s family orientated, has a distinct cool orange uniform, great merchandise, and also the best domestic coaches, then look no further and join the Bobcats, you won’t be disappointed.

The Peninsula Bobcats Sports Association now playing basketball across 5 associations in the Melbourne South Eastern region, Casey, Frankston, Mornington, Southern Peninsula and Western Port. Netball at Casey, Frankston and Mornington.

At Bobcats there’s something for everyone!!
