Mornington Basketball (MDBA) is home to the the Mornington Breakers and over 2500 domestic players participating in community competitions. Our Breakers program sees 30 junior teams competing in the VJBL and four teams competing in the Big V League. The Association is based out of Mornington Secondary College.
Registration
Seasons for junior domestic at MDBA run bi-annually, the Winter Season being terms 2 & 3 of school, and the Summer Season starting term 4 and continuing through term 1 of the following year. Age group changes are made seasonally ahead of each season. Registrations for each season open February for Winter and July for Summer. They remain open for 6 weeks, closing 4 weeks prior to commencement of new season allowing us time to form teams, schedule trainings, confirm coaches etc prior to school holidays. We offer Afterpay and humm as payment options to help with registration payments. The MDBA registration fee includes team registration, training venue hire and adminitration fee. It does NOT however, include your game fees or yearly Basketball Victoria fee.
